 Welcome to Altamaha Technical College. It is my honor to be serving as Acting President of the College. This is a great time for our students, faculty, and staff. Over the past year we have increased our enrollment by 73% and added many new programs to our curriculum. Last year was a tremendous time of growth for the College. We expect this growth to continue during the upcoming year and beyond. Summer quarter 2010 continues to show an increase in enrollment.
We are offering programs and services in seven counties in Southeast Georgia. The faculty and staff are working diligently to provide great educational opportunities to the people, businesses, and communities of our area. We provide over 90 credit technical education programs, continuing education programs, specialized training for business and industry, and adult education classes. Real Programs that lead to Real Careers.
During this past year and for the second consecutive year, 100% of our faculty and staff contributed to the annual campaign of the Altamaha Technical College Foundation, Inc. Their generous giving demonstrates their commitment to the College and to your education. The Foundation supports the students and programs of the College through scholarships, equipment purchases, and program enhancements.
